Foundry
Foundry is a build system that understands organisational context. It pairs with engineering teams as a reasoning collaborator rather than a code-completion surface — proposing structure, surfacing precedent, and quietly carrying the parts of the work that compound.
01 — What it is
A development environment that understands not just the code but the organisation around it — its decisions, its conventions, its history. Foundry pairs with engineers when they begin work, when they make architectural choices, and when they review the work of others.
It is not a code-completion product. It is a thinking partner with access to the organisation's memory.
02 — How it differs
Foundry is opinionated about scope. It declines to act where evidence is thin, escalates where consequences are large, and gets out of the way where the engineer is fluent. The shape of its restraint is the product.
It is built on the same observation infrastructure as Codex, which it treats as authoritative.
03 — Where it runs
